Note: A top-level domain (TLD), sometimes referred to as a top-level domain name (TLDN), is the last part of an Internet domain name; that is, the letters which follow the final dot of any domain name. For example, in the domain name www.example.com, the top-level domain is com (or COM, as domain names are not case-sensitive).

  1. Open Thunderbird, and select Tools > Account Settings.
  2. Click Add Account.
  3. Select the Email account radio button and click Next. The Identity screen appears.
  4. Enter your full name in the Your Name field. Enter your full email address (username@yourdomain.tld) in the Email Address field, and click Next.
  5. Select POP as the type of incoming server you are using. Enter pop.teleopacific.net in the Incoming Server field.
  6. Set the Outgoing Server to smtp.telepacific.net, and click Next.
  7. Enter your username (including @yourdomain.tld) in the Incoming User Name and Outgoing User Name fields, and click Next.
  8. Enter a name for your email account in the Account Name field, and click Next.
  9. Verify your account information in the dialog box, and click Finish.
  10. Select Server Settings from the folder list below your new account.
  11. Select Check for messages at startup and Automatically download new messages
  12. Click Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the folder list
  13. Select the smtp.telepacific.net (Default) entry from the list and click Edit. The SMTP Server page appears.
  14. Enter smtp.telepacific.net as the Server Name and set the Port to 25.
  15. Select Use name and password and enter your username (including @yourdomain.tld) in the User Name field.
  16. Click OK to save your changes and exit the Account Settings dialog.
