Can I post a personal home page on TelePacific servers?
If you have Web space provided to you and own a domain name, then yes, you can. If you don't, you can contact your account representative or our customer care center at 888-777-5802. Find out how to register a domain name here.

Can I post a commercial Web page on TelePacific servers?
Yes. TelePacific makes no distinction between personal or business use of our services. We urge you to create and post a Web page that supports your business endeavor.

How much space do I have for a Web page?
It varies per account. Our basic Web Hosting package comes with 40 MB.

Can I obtain additional space for Web pages?
Please contact your sales representative or customer care at 888-777-5802 for information on getting additional space on TelePacific's Web servers.

Does TelePacific support Microsoft® FrontPage® extensions?
Yes. TelePacific provides compatibility for Microsoft FrontPage extensions and publishing support. You must turn your FrontPage extensions on before you publish. TelePacific does not support the Microsoft Active Server Page (ASP) format.

Does TelePacific offer a secure Web server?
If your business requires a secure server, please contact your account representative or Customer Support at 888-777-5802.

Can I run CGI or Perl scripts?
Yes. We provide our Web Hosting customers with a CGI-BIN in their Web directory.• Path to Perl: /usr/bin/perl• Path to Sendmail: /usr/sbin/sendmail

Can I run PHP or Javascript?
Yes. TelePacific supports both PHP and Javascript.

Is there a limit on Web traffic from my page?
Yes. If you need more information on your allowed traffic, please contact your sales representative or Customer Support at 888-777-5802.

What is available in the TelePacific CGI Library?
TelePacific offers pretested form mail and counter scripts. For more information, please contact Customer Support at 888-777-5802.

Is there a way for me to back up or restore my website from a Web interface?
Yes. There is now a back up and restore (tar) function within the Mpower File Manager. Log in to Mpower and click on Web Area Maintenance.
